"Ye Olde Dam Site" Christmas Eve 1938. This painting is by Ray Truckle and the original is a lighter than this and much nicer. The Olde Dam Site was built by my great-grandfather Exley, along with his children and their spouses. It remained in the hands of the family until about 1970. My father was the oldest of the grandchildren and there were 38 first cousins with aunts and uncles who met for long weekends. My father has many fond memories. He took me to Marshall's Creek once to see it.
